Strategic CSR & Social Accounting

As seen above, there have been changes in the financials between pre-strategic CSR efforts and 2012, most of which are positive changes. A majority of metrics and indicators financial statement users utilize to analyze a company's progress have become more favorable post-Strategic CSR efforts. Of course, these changes are not a direct result of applying strategy to CSR activities to create shared value; however, this transition should be given weight in the change within the financials. Strategic CSR efforts are long-term investments for any company.
